Pesticide Applicator


The Pesticide Applicator is a full-time employee who is responsible for maintaining our landscape areas as directed by the Senior Landscape Manager.

Essential Functions:

·       Experience with plant identification

·       Knowledge of pests and diseases that affect turf grasses, landscape plants, and trees

·       Calibrate equipment like sprayers and spreaders

·       Monitor landscape needs

·       Aware of basic IPM principles

·       Responsible for keeping pesticide application records according to TDA laws and regulations

·       Accountable for equipment used to spray/spread chemicals

·       Report equipment damage and malfunctions to Grounds Manager

·       Communicate effectively

·       Follow Grounds Manager’s directions

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·       Ability to use/calibrate equipment

·       Good record keeping

·       Extremely responsible

·       Strong sense of ownership

·       Solid commitment to safety

·       Clean driving record

·       Bilingual (English-Spanish) highly preferred but not required

Required Qualifications:

2-3 years of field experience required

TDA licensed applicator

Must pass a background check
